This is what I do.

These are some of the photos that Lindsey and David's photographer took while I was getting Lindsey ready. I've never really seen myself doing what I do so it's kind of fun having these photos.
Eyelashes..... my favorite part :)
I also highlighted her hair earlier that week. I love my job.

More of Teena!

Here is more of a headshot of Teena- from THIS post earlier. She's a beauty isn't she? :)

Let the Praises Ring!

This is the main reason why we did a little mini photo shoot with Marlon last Sunday.... to get a photo like this. Man God is amazing- take a look at that sky! He just blows me away again and again with how strong His presence is.
When I look at this photo, the Lincoln Brewster song, "Let the Praises Ring" comes to mind. Actually many songs come to mind, but this was the first one I thought of. Enjoy!

Photoshoot with Teena

I went over to Teena's house last night to take some photos to update her head shot for her company (also had some fun doing hair and make up- and helping with wardrobe!). This isn't exactly a head shot, but really liked the colors and lighting so I thought I'd share.

This woman is such an inspiration to the world in everything she does and everything she says. She is the founder of Intentional Serenity and is moving mountains these days! Not to mention that she was the one who told me that I can accomplish ANYTHING on my intentions list that I made with her... I asked for them and now they are a reality!

She is a very dear friend and I'm so blessed to have her (and her family) in my life.

Duluth Weekend

The lighthouse....
This was up at Skyline- I love white, puffy clouds.

Not a small boat.
Lake Superior Shore
These weeds are in everyone's (I mean everyone's) yard.
If you go to Duluth and don't stop here, you're nuts. Best. Malts. Ever.
The calories are so so so so worth it.

That's the log that Marlon was sitting on for most of his photots.

More Skyline photos. That's Wisconsin.

This is where we watched the fireworks. Not ideal, but we weren't about to fight the traffic down by Canal Park.
Marlon's pride and joy :)
The road to get to Island Lake.....
This is where we fish. Just lovely.

I went down to Canal Park to take photos and this is as close as I got....... crazy tourists literally took over the city. There was a crazy fog right above the bridge- so it was a perfectly sunny day, it just doesn't look like it.That would be that crazy fog that was above the bridge....

Miss Chloe just checking out Lake Superior.

And God granted His request.

Lake Superior photo from my weekend in Duluth over the 4th of July.
Before knowing anything in the Bible really, I would always hear Marlon say most of these words (and quite a few more words) in his prayers- when we'd pray together, when we'd pray before we ate, when we woke up, etc. Little did I know he got it from the greatest book in the world!

I'd like to encourage someone out there that is putting off "reading the Bible" just like I had been for a long time, to just go out and read it. Over and over people would tell me that it brings you to a completely different place in your faith- not to mention turns a frown upside down! Everything I'm reading is just blowing me away. You'll be happy you took the time to do so.

Fishers of Men

This is one of Marlon's favorite quotes. Thought I'd put it to photo of him "fishing."

Enjoy today!

I love him.

Fun down by Lake Superior
Hi, my name is Marlon and I'm a model (who has super cute jeans).
I like that we accidentally got the ship in the background :)

He's so adorable.

$50

I took these flower photos at Lindsey and David's wedding last weekend- quite fitting and reminiscent of my new Bible don't you think? :)
To love God is to destroy all other fear. To love the world is to be afraid of everything-what it may THINK of me, what it may DO to me, what may happen today or tomorrow for which I am not prepared.

"The fear of the Lord leads to life; Then one rests content, untouched by trouble." - Proverbs 19:23 (NIV)
I'm starting to dig even deeper in my Faith in Jesus Christ. I went out and purchased a new Bible- that's one thing I was putting off..... reading His word. It is the greatest $50 I've ever spent during a shopping outing.
Not to mention it's ridiculously fabulous (yes, I realize that the inside is far superior to any kind of outside you want to put on a Bible).
Lime green with hot pink flowers on the front. I love the inside, I love the outside, I even like the sound the pages make as I turn them. I encourage all to take time to study this amazing book. It's only been a week and my eyes are opening even MORE than before!
Jesus is a pretty cool guy. I'm His #1 fan.
Hope everyone enjoys their 4th of July! Blessings to all!

Lindsey and David Pollitt

I clearly have some more, but here are some that I had here at work!

I have known Lindsey for quite some time now. Her and David met the first day of college up at UMD and have been together ever since! I did hair and make up for the bride and bridesmaids (with the help of Jena's sister with hair!). It was a beautiful day and such a fun wedding!

I like to pretend I have a wide angle lens..... :( Hopefully a blessing down the road :)

Congratulations, Lindsey and David! May your life be filled with love and endless blessings! (and hope you are enjoying the Caribbean..... safe travels!)

Safety First!

I didn't take this (I wasn't even there actually), but thought it was cute to share. Logan's first pontoon ride! The life jacket might be slightly too big, but you can never be too cautious I guess :)
I love him.
